Well, there is really no place like that, but we call the area joining New Delhi, Jaipur and Agra by that name, and quite rightly so, because these three cities are epitomes of Mughal and Raj cultures in the country. While Delhi has many monuments and palaces from the Mughal era, Rajasthan has similar objects of interest dating back to the royal warrior heroes of the Rajputana clan. Of course in Agra, we have the greatest white marble mausoleum of the world, the TajMahal.

In Jaipur, one can visit the numerous palaces including the City Palace, the Observatory, the HawaMahal and the Ram Niwas Garden, besides the whole of the Pink City. In Agra, besides the TajMahal, there is the FatehputSikri Fort to witness. The Golden Triangle trip also includes the Jama Masjid, the Tomb of SalimChisti, the PanchMahal and other places. In New Delhi, there is the QutbMinar, the Humayun's Tomb, the Red Fort, and many other places of historical importance.
The tour shapes up from the capital. The Golden Triangle tour Delhi India starts from here and goes to Agra, the nearby location, before coming back and again proceeding to Jaipur. After Jaipur, one can come back to the capital. This helps a lot as the capital is extremely well connected both internationally and inside India. One can opt for all air trips in which case there is a lot of time saved. One can also take rail and roadways. While rail is always safer, roadways are faster owing to the number of hi-fi expressways joining these cities existing already.
