Day 1: Arrival at Mumbai
For a buddhist pilgrimage tour India, arrive at Mumbai on day 1. Our guides will be present to receive you at the airport. A majority of the guests come from China, Japan, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam for Buddhist pilgrimage tour in India.

Day 2: Mumbai to Aurangabad
At the beginning of Buddhist Tour from Mumbai, the guests move to nearby Aurangabad where there is the famous UNESCO approved World Heritage Site at Ellora, built by the kings of the Rashtrakuta dynasty. There are a number of Buddhist Viharas and Monasteries here to that date back to 5th-7th century AD. Overnight stay is in hotel.

Day 3: Aurangabad to Bhopal
We start early for the Ajanta caves and after spending half a day in these beautiful caves, we head to Jalgaon rail station. From there we leave for Bhopal via train.

Day 4: Visit at Bhopal
We arrive at Bhopal in the morning and check in to the hotel. We leave in an hour to reach the famous Sanchi Stupa, a famous relic bearing importance to Buddhism and built in the 3rd. Century AD. We can reach it via road, come back and spent the night in hotel.

Day 5: Bhopal to Agra
We board train to Agra. We visit the famous Taj Mahal after checking into the hotel in the afternoon. We may also visit the other historical relics if time permits. We stay overnight in hotel.

Day 6: Agra to Varanasi
We reach from Agra to Varanasi via train. We check in to hotel and visit the famous temple of the Lord Shiva during the day. We stay in hotel overnight.

Day 7-8: Varanasi to Bodhgaya
We leave for Bodhgaya, the most important of all sacred places for the Buddhists. It is here that Gautama Buddha attained "The Enlightenment" to become the Lord Buddha. There is the Mahabodhi Temple complex that houses the famous tree and others like Thailand and Japan. The guests stay here for two days.

Day 9: Bodhgaya to Patna
The guests head towards Rajgir via Patna. They witness the Vishwa Shanti Stupa where the Lord Buddha delivered sermons, rebuilt by Japan. The guests also go ahead to visit the famous Nalanda University. Overnight stay is in hotel here.

Day 10: Patna to Delhi
Now, start driving towards airport and board flight to Delhi. On arrival at Delhi, our representative would transfer you to the hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel and relax. If time permits we can have a sightseeing excursion of Delhi.

Day 11: Delhi Departure
Next day, Get ready for an exciting Delhi tour at the end of the buddhist pilgrimage tour. Later, transfer to the airport and fly onwards.
